Dahlia "Dandy" Collarette Mix | Cut Flower Plant

Dahlia Dandy (Dahlia pinnata) is a charming, compact dahlia variety grown from seed, prized for its vibrant single blooms and attractive dark foliage. The pinwheel like flowers, which come in shades of red, pink, orange, yellow and white, with a unique set of central petals, often with contrasting colours that attract bees and butterflies. 

Upright stems and long-lasting blooms make it a delightful cut flower, especially in informal summer bouquets.

Regular picking encourages further blooming throughout the season.

Once all risk of frost has passed, transplant them into beds or pots, spacing at least 30cm apart.

These dahlias thrive in full sun and prefer fertile, well-drained soil. Regular watering during dry periods is essential - and best yet, your seedling will reward you with generous tubers at the end of the season - and bless you with blooms for years to come!
